About The Position

Clearsite Industrial Services provides hydrovac and vacuum excavation solutions for the construction industry. Based in Charlotte, North Carolina, the team operates hydrovac trucks to support safe digging around sensitive underground utilities. The Hydrovac Operator performs excavation and cleaning services while maintaining safety and operational standards, working with customers and team members, operating equipment, and meeting applicable regulatory and company requirements.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of CDL driving experience.
• CDL with tanker endorsement.
• Current DOT medical certificate.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to wear required PPE while performing job duties.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience operating hydrovac or vacuum excavation equipment.
• Experience working around underground utilities.
• OSHA 10 certification.

Responsibilities

• Operate hydrovacuum systems to perform non-destructive excavation around underground utilities.
• Carry out cleaning and vacuuming tasks, equipment mobilization, and routine truck maintenance.
• Participate in safety meetings and adhere to safety protocols.
• Complete company, customer, and regulatory documentation accurately.
• Communicate with on-site customer representatives to determine safe equipment positioning.
• Troubleshoot equipment and perform minor repairs.
• Work flexible construction hours and travel as required.
