About The Position

Barr is seeking a senior hydrogeologist to join one of its Minnesota offices and contribute to hydrogeology projects involving water supply evaluations, contaminated groundwater remediation, mine planning and development, and groundwater-surface water interactions. The position applies advanced hydrogeology skills to work that may include conceptual site model development, numerical modeling, aquifer test performance and analysis, sustainability analysis, and reporting. Work may be performed individually or as part of a project team, with opportunities to supervise project teams. The role includes technical leadership for subsurface investigations, groundwater and soil sampling, hydrogeologic data collection, complex data interpretation, groundwater modeling, and project delivery. The hydrogeologist coordinates field programs and logistics, manages budgets, schedules, and deliverables, and serves as a primary client contact.
