About The Position

Epic Piping is hiring a Hydro Operator to join its Fabrication team. The role operates hydrotest and chart recorder equipment to pressure-test vessels, piping, and other pressure-retaining items, and is responsible for water pressure tests and checks of each pipe. The operator follows safe work practices, supports safety and production, and applies relevant HSE procedures and regulations. Epic considers candidates at different experience levels, with Hydro Operator I requiring 0–3 years of related experience and Hydro Operator II requiring 4–5 years.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; two years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of education.
• At least one year of experience.
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Operate hydrotest and chart recorder equipment to pressure-test vessels and piping.
• Hydrotest specified pressure-retaining items.
