About The Position

The Hydro Blast Technician will perform a wide range of physical activities that require strength and flexibility of whole body for handling, positioning, moving and manipulating equipment and materials, emergency response, vacuum truck operations, waste disposal, site remediation and high-pressure water blasting.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must be capable of travelling for extended periods of time. Per Diem, Hotel and transportation will be provided.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and/or state issued ID
  • Must possess a valid TWIC card or be capable of obtaining one
  • Must be capable of passing a UA and hair follicle drig screen.
  • Must have never previously failed a DISA drug screen.
  • Must pass all DISA required criminal background checks
  • Respond to emergency calls 24 hours, 7 days a week if called upon.
  • Ability to perform duties in accordance with training and standard operating procedures. Ability to understand and follow specific procedures and directions.
  • Ability to lift, move and handle up to 50lb hos
  • Must be able to pass a physical.
  • Will be exposed to all weather conditions.

Nice To Haves

  • Hydro blasting or pressure cleaning experience is preferred, but not required.
  • General labor experience is a plus.
  • U.S. Passport is a plus as we perform work outside of the USA sometimes

Responsibilities

  • Operate and set-up all necessary cleaning equipment such as high-pressure pumps, in service line hydro-blasting, and vacuum), in accordance with operational and training and guidelines and safety procedures.
  • Adhere to all safety policies and practices, including but not limited to personal protective gear.
  • Ability to work safely in and around heavy machinery in loud, hazardous, and heaving industrial settings.
  • Manually clean, install, fit repair valves, caps, hoses, pumps, gaskets and all other external and internal equipment on tanks.
  • Assist in the inspection of equipment, hoses, connections, pumps and general work area prior to starting any job. Informs supervisor of deficiencies, which may cause accidents, injuries or lost productivity.
