About The Position
This role involves the hands-on operation of metal fabrication equipment, with a specific focus on forming with hydraulic presses and welding. The operator will be responsible for setting up hydraulic presses and dies to produce specific Graepel parts, ensuring "0 defect" parts through proper setup of tools, dies, and other production necessities. The position also includes providing maintenance and minor repairs on tools, dies, and machines. The job requires working a regular schedule determined by supervisory management and performing other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Degree or equivalent and/or related experience required.
- Ability to use Direct read measuring devices required.
- Ability to operate a forklift and obtain certification.
- Ability to read blue prints and understand functionality of parts and their components.
- Ability to work in a team environment and/or independently.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in manufacturing; metal fabrication preferred.
- Knowledge in the operation of hydraulic forming presses preferred.
Responsibilities
- Knowledge and hands-on operation of metal fabrication, especially forming with hydraulic presses and welding equipment
- Setup of hydraulic presses and dies to produce specific Graepel parts.
- Provide maintenance and minor repairs on tools, dies, and machines.
- Setup tool and dies and other production necessities to produce "0 defect" parts.
- Work a regular schedule determined by supervisory management
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisory personnel.
