About The Position

Seeking a Hydraulic Press Operator for its 2nd shift manufacturing team. This position is responsible for operating hydraulic presses and metal fabrication equipment, setting up tooling and dies, completing quality checks, and ensuring finished parts meet specifications.

Requirements

• Drug Screen Required
• Background Check Required
• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
• Client Interview Required
• Must be able to communicate in English
• Manufacturing experience preferred, especially metal fabrication
• Hydraulic press experience preferred, but they are open to someone with less experience
• Must know how to use measuring tools/direct-read measuring devices
• Must be able to read and understand blueprints
• Ability to complete production paperwork accurately
• Forklift experience preferred and must be able to obtain certification
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Must be comfortable with a physically demanding manufacturing environment
• Steel-Toed boots required

Nice To Haves

• Manufacturing experience preferred, especially metal fabrication

Responsibilities

• Operate hydraulic presses and other metal fabrication equipment
• Set up presses, tooling, and dies for production
• Change tooling and dies as needed
• Perform quality checks to ensure parts meet specifications
• Read blueprints and verify measurements
• Complete work orders and document good and defective part quantities
• Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on machines, tools, and dies
• Assist production and warehouse departments as needed
