About The Position

The Hybrid Supervisor (Shift Captain) works the third shift, Monday through Friday from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM, supporting security operations at the Honda campus. The role combines shift supervision with Security Responder duties when no Security Responder is on duty, such as during non-production times. The supervisor remains in uniform, including body armor and weapons, and must be able to access and respond to any area of the plant, including through emergency operation of the Links. The Shift Captain receives the radio, keys, and briefing from the prior Shift Captain; reviews reports and incident information; submits shift schedules two weeks in advance; and conducts quarterly training checklists and audits. The position is part-time and pays $21.75 per hour. Employment is contingent on satisfactory completion of a post-offer background investigation and drug screen; a criminal background check may be required by law for this safety-sensitive licensed security role.
