About The Position

This position is responsible for performing a variety of skilled tasks in the maintenance, repair, and installation of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. The role involves diagnosing and resolving issues, ensuring optimal system performance, and maintaining a safe and comfortable environment within the district's facilities. This is a 12-month, 8-hour per day position.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Completion of a recognized apprenticeship program in HVACR or equivalent trade school training.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in HVACR maintenance and repair.
• Valid Nevada Driver's License.
• Universal EPA Certification.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS).
• Knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems related to HVACR.
• Experience in a school district or similar institutional setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on HVACR systems.
• Diagnose and repair malfunctioning HVACR equipment.
• Install new HVACR systems and components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and district policies.
• Respond to emergency service calls as needed.
