About The Position

DOC Services Inc. is seeking a Commercial HVAC-Refrigeration Technician to join their team. This role involves performing preventative maintenance and repairs on Commercial HVAC Units and light industrial equipment. The technician will be responsible for maintaining equipment parts and supplies inventories, troubleshooting electronic and electrical components, and ensuring timely repairs. The position offers a consistent year-round work schedule, local travel within a 2.5-hour radius, and a supportive team environment.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of experience working with commercial HVAC - R equipment such as Walk-in Freezers, Reach-in Freezers, Ice Machines, Coolers, ETC.
EPA Certification
High school diploma or GED
Ability and desire to be cross trained on additional equipment for year round work
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
Proficiency with MS Office products and advanced Phone Apps
Ability to provide own set of tools

Responsibilities

Performing preventative maintenance and repairs on Commercial HVAC Units and light industrial equipment.
Maintaining equipment parts and supplies inventories by checking stock and anticipating needs.
Troubleshooting the electronic and electrical components of HVAC and refrigeration units.
Repairing and performing Preventive Maintenance for Commercial HVAC and Refrigeration Units.
Locating sources of problems by observing mechanical devices and listening for issues.
Providing daily reports and communicating regularly with store managers, the regional DOC Supervisor, and the assigned office administrator.
Removing defective parts by dismantling devices using hand and power tools.
Identifying correct parts needed for equipment and closing calls in a timely manner.
Adhering to OSHA and DOC safety regulations.
Maintaining company vehicle.
