About The Position

We are seeking an experienced and motivated HVAC Warranty Technician to join Elmer's growing service team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and servicing residential and light commercial HVAC systems while delivering an outstanding customer experience at every call. The ideal technician is skilled, dependable, professional, and takes pride in quality workmanship. We don’t just fix air conditioners. We restore comfort, protect homes, and build lifelong customer relationships.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • One-year related experience in the HVAC industry or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Climbing up and down on ladders and equipment
  • Heavy lifting required (50-75) pounds, ladder work and tight space work required from time to time.
  • Ability to pick-up a minimum of 25 pounds consistently and carry up to 250 feet unassisted.
  • Operate handheld power tools.
  • Wear personal protective equipment.
  • Ability to work more than 40 hours per work week and up to 12 hours per day, as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Travel to homes and businesses daily as scheduled
  • Preform evaluations & consultations with potential customers
  • Determine customer’s needs and discuss all solutions.
  • Generate sales on every call.
  • Inspect current HVAC systems for efficiency and safety
  • Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC systems.
  • Conduct performance tests with specialized tools
  • Troubleshooting current HVAC system issues
  • Repair damaged HVAC systems
  • Renew maintenance contracts for current customers
  • Sell maintenance contracts to new customers
  • Maintain accurate inventory of all tolls and HVAC parts
  • Obey company Code of Ethics and Team Rules
