About The Position

Lennox National Account Services (NAS), wholly owned by Lennox International, is a major, national player in the Commercial Heating Ventilating and Air Conditioning (HVAC) maintenance and service industry with over 100 offices nationwide and plans for significant growth. This internship offers an outstanding opportunity to develop professional expertise and contribute to a specialized team. Interns typically work full-time for a defined period during a schooling break, working closely with experts or on teams to address critical business needs. Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Currently enrolled in Technical school in an HVAC program.
Must be in good standing at the school with a GPA of 3.5 or above and excellent attendance.
Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
Complete pre-employment drug test and background check process.
Solid written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to climb ladders.
Moderate lifting (up to 90 pounds).
Manual tandem lifting load up to 125 lbs.

Nice To Haves

EPA Certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

Assist other technicians to perform preventative maintenance on commercial, rooftop HVAC units.
Safely assist with necessary tools/equipment onto the rooftop (typically via fixed/extension ladder).
Work at heights.
Load and unload tools/equipment from work van.
Lift occasionally up to 75lbs.
Lift to shoulder and overhead occasionally up to 25 lbs.
Push/pull wheeled cart up to 150 lbs.
Climb ladder up to roof height.
Extend reach overhead in a repetitive motion.
