Requirements

5+ years of experience as a field technician or in a supervisory role, with a strong technical background in HVAC
High school diploma or equivalent work experience
Proven ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, with exceptional communication, coaching, and leadership skills
Computer literacy, including MS Office and comfort with business tools
Strong decision-making skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
A clean motor vehicle record with an active driver's license, and the ability to pass a background and drug screen upon offer
Ability to perform physical field work, including standing, bending, climbing, and lifting up to 75 pounds, as part of ride-alongs and inspections

Nice To Haves

ServiceTitan or similar CRM/scheduling software experience is a plus

Responsibilities

Lead regular technical training sessions to sharpen field technicians' skills, keep certifications current, and raise service quality
Evaluate technician performance through ride-alongs, quality check inspections, and competency assessments
Manage callbacks, resolve them quickly, and dig into root causes to stop repeat issues
Support large job sales with technical expertise, site visits, and accurate project estimates
Track KPIs for technician performance, quality, and customer satisfaction, and build improvement plans around them
Troubleshoot complex technical issues in the field and act as a go-to resource for the team
Partner with recruiting to evaluate technical ability during hiring, and mentor technicians toward accountability and growth
