About The Position

At the Mass Mutual Center, we are looking for an experienced HVAC Technician whose thrives on taking mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems to optimal performance! With 2+ years of hands-on experience in commercial HVAC and related building systems, you will ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and uphold the integrity of our operations. Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
• 2+ Years of prior experience in General Maintenance and repair of commercial HVAC or related building systems in a similar environment
• Valid MA Refrigeration’ License-Required
• Valid EPA Universal Certification Required
• Valid driver’s license
• Valid Mechanical or EPA HVAC&R A-B license - Required

Responsibilities

• Accurately maintain records of labor time, parts used, and work accomplished
• Maintain and repair of HVAC, minor electrical, mechanical, minor plumbing, chillers, refrigeration, boilers and associated equipment.
• Cleans HVAC&R coils and duct work as necessary
• Inspects and calibrate HVAC&R systems as needed
• Inspects and measures building systems to determine proper air flow
• Performs of all corrective and preventive maintenance duties related to HVAC systems
• Keep all work areas, HVAC storage, and equipment clean, orderly and free of all debris
• Operate equipment used in the maintenance of conventions facilities such as forklifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts and other maintenance equipment.
• Working knowledge of control programs and software including but not limited to the facility lighting control system, building management control system and ice plant refrigeration system
• Per EPA regulations, maintain refrigerant log to include the following: ,employee name, date, reason for loss or gain of refrigerant, equipment serviced, corrective action taken and type and amount of refrigerant
• Maintain a quarterly inventory of trade equipment and supplies as required by MCCA
• Assist Director of Arena Operations with capital projects as needed
