About The Position
Jetson is seeking a motivated, experienced residential HVAC installer to lead an installation crew and help advance its home-electrification mission. The team lead will guide a less experienced HVAC Technician, remove gas furnaces, install heat pump systems, and work with engineering teams to improve products and streamline installation processes. The role is in person in Dallas, Texas, and is full-time and permanent.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an HVAC installation team member and team lead.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
- Familiarity with building codes and regulations in the Denver area.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Excellent English communication and customer service skills.
- Follow OSHA Electrical Standard.
- Follow OSHA Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) standard.
Nice To Haves
- HVAC NATE certification.
- Section 608 certification.
- BPI certification.
Responsibilities
- Remove existing HVAC equipment.
- Install new heat pump systems.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning and replacing filters.
- Test heat pump systems to ensure proper functionality.
- Follow blueprints, schematics, and building codes when installing or repairing systems.
- Collaborate with technicians and engineering teams on products and processes.
- Provide customer service by addressing client concerns and answering questions.
- Train team members on Jetson equipment and installation procedures.
