About The Position

Carrier is seeking a 3rd Shift HVAC Supervisor & Engineering Lab Technician for our Charlotte manufacturing facility. This is a hands-on working supervisor role: we are looking for a technical lead who is ready to contribute to the labor and technical execution alongside their team. You will lead the transition from 2nd shift to 3rd shift, acting as the primary supervisor for the facility’s lab operations during these hours to ensure continuity and test lab productivity. This role is designed for someone who thrives in complex, high-speed environments. You will manage massive infrastructure, including high flow hydronic pumping systems (up to 4,000 GPM) and high-power electrical setups. We value reliability and the "detective mindset" required for troubleshooting and diagnostics during a critical production ramp up. If you are a hands-on leader ready to bridge the gap between technical execution and team coordination, we want you on our team. This is a high visibility, high impact position. Our customers, ranging from hospitals to data centers, rely on these chillers for mission critical cooling. They expect to see their units tested to perfection before they leave our facility. As the 3rd shift lead, you are the final gatekeeper of quality and reliability, making you a vital contributor to Carrier’s global growth and customer trust.
