About The Position

The FSQ Lab Technician will execute microbiological testing procedures for verifying commercial sterility of finished products, manage the Environmental Monitoring Program, and coordinate the storage, organization, and shipment of finished product samples. This role also involves executing the Water Testing Program and the Sensory Program for finished products. The technician will be responsible for creating Certificates of Analysis (COA) and managing the communication process for finished product release. Additionally, they will coordinate verification, calibration routines, and maintenance programs for laboratory equipment and instruments across all labs, and develop and validate quality assurance testing methods. The position also includes coordinating external lab testing programs, providing support for the positive release process of finished products, and contributing to the root cause analysis of customer complaint investigations and the maintenance and improvement of FSQ documentation practices. Maintaining the organization, cleanliness, and housekeeping of the FSQ Lab area, as well as ordering and performing inventory control for supplies and reagents, are also key responsibilities. Other duties may be assigned by management.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, written and verbally.
  • Ability to document, describe and interpret records and documented specifications.
  • Ability to enforce company procedures and policies.
  • Ability to document inspection findings legibly and with accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain organization, cleanliness and housekeeping of FSQ Lab area.
  • Order and perform inventory control for supplies and reagents.
  • Other duties, as assigned by management.
