About The Position

This role involves servicing commercial HVAC systems, requiring a strong understanding of various components and troubleshooting capabilities. The technician will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing split systems and package units, as well as working with refrigeration, electric motors, heating units, and controls. The position also involves customer interaction and maintaining a professional appearance.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5-Years Commercial Experience
  • State Registered & EPA certified
  • Must have DRIVER'S LICENSE IN GOOD STANDING AND GOOD DRIVING RECORD
  • Must PASS A BACKGROUND CHECK
  • Must have own hand tools, drills, gauges, and some specialized equipment.
  • Good Communication Skills
  • Organized, punctual and dependable
  • Self motivated and ability to work alone with little supervision
  • Technical knowledge of equipment and ability to diagnose & troubleshoot systems
  • Technical knowledge for start-up and installation of HVAC equipment up to 25-tons
  • Flexible and willing to work overtime and occasional out of town work

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred experience diagnosing and servicing split systems and package units
  • Preferred experience in refrigeration, electric motors, heating units, hermetic compressors, light commercial furnaces, boilers, burners intake and exhaust fans, economizers, humidifiers, low-temperature application, and controls knowledge.
  • Preferred experience troubleshooting controls and building automation.
  • Working knowledge of electric controls, VVT, DDC, and programmable thermostat controls of HVAC equipment.
  • Preferred experience dispatching and/or scheduling technicians.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnosing and servicing split systems and package units.
  • Servicing refrigeration, electric motors, heating units, hermetic compressors, light commercial furnaces, boilers, burners, intake and exhaust fans, economizers, humidifiers, and low-temperature applications.
  • Troubleshooting controls and building automation systems.
  • Working with electric controls, VVT, DDC, and programmable thermostat controls of HVAC equipment.
  • Dispatching and/or scheduling technicians.
  • Ensuring a clean, neat, and professional appearance.
  • Demonstrating pride of workmanship.
  • Working overtime and occasional out-of-town work.
  • Performing start-up and installation of HVAC equipment up to 25-tons.
