About The Position

The HVAC Solution Sales Engineer - Bilingual will coordinate with the Commercial Manager and Engineering Leader to establish design strategies and advise clients, offering comprehensive HVACR systems solutions that are energy-efficient and aligned with the client’s investment budget. This role executes sales strategies to top executive levels, engaging with senior decision-makers to secure high-value projects and long-term partnerships. The position requires meeting assigned sales quotas, traveling to visit clients to identify needs and potential markets, and developing new sales strategies in coordination with management. The engineer will advise clients on the purchase and design of HVACR systems or equipment, prepare and track quotations and/or budgets, and follow up on open opportunities and pipeline in Salesforce. Proposing alternative solutions that add value, maintaining close client relationships, and updating opportunities monthly in Salesforce are key responsibilities. The role involves negotiating project conditions, identifying and negotiating multidisciplinary projects, formalizing contracts, tracking purchase orders, monitoring accounts and collections, and managing client warranties. Collaboration with other departments (Engineering, Projects, Services, Logistics, Shared Services) is essential for a smooth sales process. The engineer will also keep clients informed about new equipment and applications, conduct client training sessions, and analyze competitor products. Other related and complementary tasks may be assigned by the direct supervisor or the company.

Requirements

  • Professional in Mechanical, Electronic, Civil Electrical, Electromechanical, Metallurgical, Industrial Engineering or related fields.
  • English – Spanish Fluent
  • Minimum of five years of experience in selling industrial equipment and/or HVACR projects.
  • Knowledge and/or specialization in Commercial Management and/or Sales.
  • Knowledge of HVACR systems.
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems, pumping systems, etc.
  • Knowledge in calculation and design of air conditioning systems, mechanical ventilation, dust filtration, heating and/or refrigeration.
  • Knowledge in selection of electromechanical equipment.
  • Qualified Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with the Commercial Manager and Engineering Leader to establish design strategies and advise clients, offering comprehensive HVACR systems solutions that are energy-efficient and aligned with the client’s investment budget.
  • Execute sales strategies to top executive levels, engaging with senior decision-makers to secure high-value projects and long-term partnerships.
  • Meet assigned sales quotas to achieve the targets set for the current fiscal year.
  • Travel and visit clients to identify needs and potential markets, developing new sales strategies in coordination with management.
  • Advise clients on the purchase and design of HVACR systems or equipment.
  • Prepare and track quotations and/or budgets according to client specifications.
  • Follow-up on open opportunities and Quality pipeline in our CRM Salesforce.
  • Propose alternative solutions that add value and influence client preferences.
  • Maintain close relationships with clients, conduct periodic visits when opportunities arise, and record meetings and visits in Salesforce to identify business opportunities.
  • Update opportunities monthly in Salesforce and keep records of completed sales and/or service orders.
  • Negotiate project conditions with clients to secure deals while maximizing profit margins within company guidelines.
  • Identify, develop, and negotiate multidisciplinary projects that include HVACR systems, and other related engineering disciplines, ensuring integrated solutions that meet client needs and company standards.
  • Formalize contracts for each piece of equipment, project, and/or service sold.
  • Track purchase orders for sold equipment with the logistics department.
  • Monitor accounts and collections for sold equipment, projects, and/or services.
  • Manage client warranties in coordination with the Projects and/or Services department and communicate decisions regarding claims when required.
  • Comply with all company procedures and policies.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments (Engineering, Projects, Services, Logistics, Shared Services) to ensure a smooth sales process.
  • Keep clients informed about new equipment and applications available in the market.
  • Conduct client training sessions when necessary.
  • Analyze competitor products and identify strengths and weaknesses compared to our offerings.
  • Perform other related and complementary tasks as assigned by the direct supervisor or the company.
