About The Position

Phoenix Mechanical is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician for their Elmsford, NY location. The ideal candidate will already have HVAC work experience and be able to perform repair/maintenance work in a thorough and accurate manner. Experienced Technicians may be eligible to receive a Sign-On Bonus if hired. Phoenix has been in business since 1996 and is a leader in the HVAC industry in Westchester County. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required
Valid driver’s license / clean driving record
Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
Excellent written, verbal, and active listening skills
Exceptional customer service skills
Technical knowledge
Strong organizational skills

Problem-solving skills

Nice To Haves

5+ years of HVAC experience preferred
EPA – Universal Certification preferred
OSHA 10-hour Construction Course preferred

Responsibilities

Services all equipment according to an established service schedule, and company standards and within acceptable time frames as well as troubleshoot and rectify potential problems on location.
Interact with homeowners to educate, build relationships, and understand and address their HVAC concerns.
Documents legibly and accurately all work completed according to company policy and submits on a daily basis.
Builds and maintains customer relations in the field to ensure excellent customer service and enhance the company's image.
Follows all safety procedures, including following all safe driving habits and not utilizing mobile devices in vehicles.
Applies knowledge of products and seeks additional training/education as appropriate.
