About The Position

The HVAC Service Technician will diagnose, troubleshoot, and evaluate HVAC systems to identify customer needs and system deficiencies. They will perform service, maintenance, and minor repairs in accordance with company standards. The technician will present clear, accurate, and professional solutions to customers, including repair and replacement options, and accurately document all service activities, estimates, and customer interactions in company systems. The role requires meeting or exceeding established performance metrics, including revenue targets, close rates, and average ticket value.

Requirements

  • Must be an insurable driver, meaning minimal to no motor vehicle violations within the last 3–5 years
  • Must possess a current, valid driver's license from Washington (or agree to obtain within 30 days of offer acceptance if out-of-state)
  • Must be at least 25 years of age
  • Minimum of 2 years of driving experience
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to pass background check and any required pre-employment screenings in accordance with applicable laws
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly to customers
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
  • Basic computer proficiency, including mobile applications, CRM systems, and dispatch software
  • Ability to accurately document service calls, estimates, and customer interactions
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically in the field
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Self-motivated with accountability for individual performance metrics
  • Commitment to ongoing training and professional development

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of 2+ years of HVAC service or installation experience
  • Demonstrated ability or willingness to develop strong sales skills in a service environment
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends as needed
