About The Position

Service Tech 3s will handle complex escalations and mentor developing technicians.

Requirements

Active Connecticut D-2 or S-2 journeyperson license
EPA 608 certification
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Willingness to participate in the on-call rotation
Ability to pass a background check

Nice To Haves

NATE certification or specialty certifications
Oil and propane burner experience (B-2/B-4) in addition to HVAC
Combustion analysis skill with instruments
Boiler and steam experience
Flat-rate pricing experience
Comfortable with a tablet for job documentation and photos

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair furnaces, boilers, heat pumps, and split systems across gas, oil, and electric applications.
Explain findings to homeowners in clear language.
Provide pricing using a flat-rate repair book.
Document work with a tablet.
Manage a full schedule of service calls.
Handle complex escalation calls and help mentor developing technicians (as Service Tech 3).
