About The Position

American Rooter & Drain (ARD) is seeking an HVAC Service Technician who can diagnose and repair broken systems, connect with customers, solve problems, and represent the company professionally. The technician will respond to 'No Heat / No AC' calls, perform on-the-spot repairs, and identify opportunities for full system replacements, which will be handled by the installation crews. This role requires strong technical skills, customer service abilities, and a commitment to the company's values.

Requirements

At least 2 years of HVAC diagnostics experience.
Ability to work with customers on closing repair tickets and setting leads for system replacements.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Mechanical aptitude and a strong desire to grow and learn.
Team player who takes direction well and thrives in a structured environment.
Strong attention to detail and an instinct for problem-solving.
Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines.
Must be able to lift heavy equipment, work in crawl spaces, and handle outdoor weather conditions.
A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Solid understanding of HVAC systems and diagnosing system components.

Responsibilities

Respond to residential HVAC service calls for issues such as no heat, no cool, or poor performance.
