About The Position

Join our CANADY'S TEAM! We are seeking an HVAC Service Technician with residential experience preferred. Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of residential or light commercial HVAC experience preferred
  • Strong diagnostic skills and mechanical aptitude
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
  • Professional appearance, positive attitude, and team-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs, climb ladders, work in attics, crawl spaces, and other residential environments.
  • At least one year of experience in residential HVAC service or installation, preferred
  • Must have knowledge of the phases of residential HVAC.
  • Learn & be compliant with all standards & practices for data recording & reporting on invoices
  • Troubleshooting & diagnosing and explaining all problems and options to clients
  • Apply knowledge to perform thorough and accurate HVAC inspections and communicate findings with clients
  • Must comply with all safety regulations and processes
  • Ability to deal effectively with customers and solve technical problems by using experience and personal influence to provide resolution
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Clean driving record

Nice To Haves

  • Residential experience preferred
  • Technical school a plus
  • Experience using Service Titan or similar software a PLUS
  • NATE Certified a PLUS
  • Experience in the trades: HVAC, plumbing, electrical
  • Experience with Service Titan

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and light commercial HVAC systems
  • Install heating, ventilation, and air conditioning units, ductwork, thermostats, and controls
  • Perform preventive maintenance and system inspections
  • Provide excellent customer service by explaining work performed and answering questions
  • Accurately document work orders, materials used, and recommendations
  • Work closely with dispatch to ensure efficient scheduling and routing
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked service vehicle
  • Follow safety procedures and company standards at all times
  • Maintain communication with dispatch, your manager, parts and installation teams
  • Keep your company truck clean, inside and out
  • Keep your truck inventory up to date
  • Properly complete paperwork
  • Join the on-call rotation
  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance
  • Have and maintain a clean driving record
  • Participate in training allowing you to grow and develop as a professional
  • Have or be willing to get the proper certifications (We can help you with this)
  • Ensure safety best practices are followed in the field.
  • Other duties as assigned.
