HVAC Service Technician
About The Position
Service Today is hiring an HVAC Service Technician to serve residential customers in the Seaford, Delaware; Salisbury, Maryland; Bear, Delaware; and Easton, Maryland areas. The role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining residential HVAC systems, performing preventive maintenance and inspections, documenting work, and providing courteous customer service. Technicians dispatch from home and coordinate with dispatch to support efficient scheduling and routing. The position offers a self-built schedule, full-time work, hourly and bonus pay, and a sign-on bonus of up to $5,000 for qualified technicians. The posting states that technicians can earn up to $70 per hour and that top technicians take home $70,000 to $200,000 annually. Requirements
- At least 2 years of residential or light commercial HVAC experience is preferred.
- Strong diagnostic skills and mechanical aptitude.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating.
- Working knowledge of boiler systems.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in reading schematics.
- Ability to work in confined spaces.
- Ability to establish customer rapport and encourage repeat business.
- Goal-oriented, energetic, positive, and self-motivated.
- Successful completion of a criminal background check, drug screening, and motor vehicle report is required for employment.

Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain residential HVAC systems.
