About The Position

Mountain Home Services is seeking HVAC Service Technicians to diagnose residential HVAC systems, explain repair options and pricing to customers, order parts for installation purposes, and collect payment after work is completed. Technicians ensure quality work in compliance with local and national codes and serve as mentors to HVAC Installers. The role includes routine maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, customer education, and documentation of services and recommendations.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in HVAC maintenance, diagnosing and troubleshooting, and correcting diverse system issues.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, with a strong desire to exceed customer expectations.
• Results-driven approach in a high-energy environment.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to follow directions and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on residential heating and air conditioning systems.
• Use hand and power tools to inspect, repair, and maintain furnaces, condensers, and compressors.
• Diagnose HVAC system issues and explain repair options and pricing to customers.
• Order parts for installation purposes and collect payment upon completion.
• Ensure quality work is completed in accordance with local and national codes and applicable quality and safety standards.
• Mentor HVAC Installers.
• Build client relationships through strong communication and outstanding customer service.
• Educate clients about their systems and maintenance requirements.
• Identify opportunities for clients to improve their home comfort systems through product overviews.
• Document services performed and recommendations by completing applicable forms, reports, logs, and records.
