HVAC Service Technician
About The Position
We Care Plumbing, Heating & Air is hiring an HVAC Service Technician to perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on residential HVAC systems. Technicians diagnose system issues and repair options, conduct safety and performance tests, and check for carbon monoxide and natural gas leaks. The role places a strong emphasis on customer service, including communicating system status to homeowners before and after service. Daily work also includes collecting payments, providing accurate and detailed information about each home and service situation, and maintaining truck inventory. Technicians are dispatched directly from home, and a work vehicle is included. Paid training is provided, and the company is open to experienced and entry-level technicians.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience as an HVAC Service Technician.
- EPA certification.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Valid Social Security card.
- Pass a pre-employment background check.
- Pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance checks and services for HVAC systems.
- Troubleshoot residential systems and diagnose repair options.
- Conduct safety and performance tests on systems.
- Check work areas for carbon monoxide and natural gas leaks.
- Communicate with homeowners about system status before and after service.
- Collect payments and provide accurate, detailed information about each home and service situation.
