About The Position

New England Mechanical Services, Inc. offers single-source facilities services solutions, including engineering, design, installation, repair, maintenance and operations for commercial real estate, financial, healthcare, technology, educational, and industrial facilities. New England Mechanical Services is currently seeking an HVAC Service Technician with an RJ2 license to maintain, troubleshoot, repair and operate commercial HVAC systems for our Pawtucket, Rhode Island Operations Group. This position prefers the selected individuals to have commercial HVAC systems experience, the ability to respond on a moment’s notice, and strong communication skills. A company vehicle, HVAC equipment, gas card, cell phone, uniforms, and all PPE is provided.

Requirements

Must hold a current RJ2 license.
EPA 608 Universal required.
Commercial HVAC systems experience.
Must have a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

Keep trade licenses and certifications current.
Follow and comply with the rules and regulations of section 608 of the clean air act and occupational safety regulations mandated by federal, state and local governments.
Attend all safety training provided and/or sponsored by NEMSI.
Follow all NEMSI safety policies, procedures, and use personal protective equipment when performing installation and/or servicing HVAC systems.
Interact with the client in a professional and courteous manner while maintaining a clean and neat appearance.
Flexible to work overtime and weekends as demand requires.
Other duties may be assigned.
