About The Position

This role will be responsible for providing recruitment support by playing a vital role in sourcing, screening, and hiring top talent to support our company's growth. This role will work closely with hiring managers to understand their needs, develop effective recruitment strategies, and ensure positive candidate experience. Additionally, the Recruiter will research, develop, and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the organization. This role is on-site at the Deer Park, TX HR office. #ois

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum five (5) years of related work experience preferably in an industry setting.
  • High level of proficiency with DISA.
  • Familiarity with Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong written and communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to be flexible, navigate change and work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated and driven to learn and improve.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with hiring managers.
  • Effective time-management skills, multitasking and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to assess and evaluate candidate qualifications.
  • Discretion and the ability to keep data confidential.

Responsibilities

  • Manages candidate pre-hire through hire onboarding process ensuring hiring activities are completed with urgency, consistency, and accuracy.
  • Facilitate candidate skills testing for appropriate positions.
  • Schedule employees for drug screen, background, fit test, physicals and safety council classes; communicate that to them.
  • Support other recruiters as needed with on-boarding tasks.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure hiring needs and scheduling are being met.
  • Responsive to incoming calls from applicants and employees, answering questions and providing guidance to ensure a positive recruiting and onboarding experience.
  • Assist with internal and external HR related inquiries and requests.
  • Ensure that HR activities are completed in accordance with HR Work Processes.
  • Thrives in a very fast-paced environment with multiple priorities while maintaining consistency of service.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and suggest solutions.
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies to build and maintain a strong candidate pipeline through various channels.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices in recruitment.
  • Provide effective communication with employees and a timely resolution to their inquiries related to their on-boarding process.
  • Willing and capable of working overtime as required; after hours/weekends.
