About The Position

Logan Services is looking for an HVAC Service Technician Apprentice to join their Vandalia team. This is a full-time, Trane-accredited apprenticeship program designed for individuals interested in a hands-on career in a skilled trade. The program offers a clear path for growth, allowing apprentices to learn from experienced HVAC technicians while gaining practical experience in diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing residential heating and cooling systems. No extensive prior HVAC experience is required, as the company invests in employee development and provides paid training.

Responsibilities

Assist experienced HVAC technicians with inspections, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
Learn to identify HVAC components, tools, and basic system issues.
Help transport, organize, and maintain tools, equipment, and materials.
Learn proper HVAC installation, service, and safety practices.
Follow safety procedures when working with refrigerants, electrical components, and equipment.
Keep job sites, service vehicles, and tools clean and organized.
Learn how to communicate professionally with homeowners and provide excellent customer service.
Complete job documentation and assist with recording materials and work performed.
Participate in ongoing training and develop the skills needed to advance in the HVAC trade.
