Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of HVAC service experience, with knowledge of maintenance procedures and troubleshooting. Requirements

HVAC Journeyperson status.
Must be a member in good standing of Local Union 516 or willing to join.
Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
Working proficiency with handheld computers (i.e. Smartphone, iPad).
Adherence to the company safety program.
Valid driver's license.
Appropriate licenses to work with refrigerants, natural gas and electrical.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Must be able to be on call nights and weekends on a rotating basis.

Nice To Haves

Gas B Certificate
A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial, industrial, and/or institutional settings.

Responsibilities

Execute contract maintenance visits, inspections, site assessments, and service requests.
Recommend necessary upgrades or repairs to prolong equipment life cycle.
Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers, vendors, and co-workers.
Provide quote estimates for labor and material repairs and upgrades.
Service products and equipment on assigned projects, ensuring customer satisfaction by identifying, analyzing, diagnosing, and repairing equipment and systems.
Use cutting-edge software and technology, along with a variety of hand tools, and rigging equipment, following blueprints or engineering specifications, to diagnose and repair equipment.
Enforce safety to the highest standards.
Maintain security and accountability of company-issued and procured assets by recording use, wear, and conditions.
Work as part of a team to deliver the highest standard of service.
Be added to the on-call rotation for 24/7 service.
