About The Position

ACCO / Sunbelt Control’s Journeyperson positions are dispatched through union locals. Applicants interested in joining the union for this role are encouraged to apply. The role performs duties across a variety of systems related to the company’s business and collaborates as necessary with Project Managers, Project Engineers, and colleagues. This position is for signatory employees, with wages aligned with the current Collective Bargaining Agreements.

Requirements

• Experience in the commercial HVAC business.
• Self-motivated, energetic, ambitious, and positive attitude.
• Excellent customer relations and professional communication skills.
• Professional conduct and ability to represent the company’s image and reputation with clients.
• Good time management.
• Basic written communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to organize.
• Ability to learn and adapt to existing and new programs and processes.

• Clean driving record.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Class C driver’s license and be able to drive a vehicle.
• Frequently lift or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.
• Close and distance vision.
• Regularly talk or hear; frequently stand, walk, sit, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel; occasionally reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, especially during job site walks.

• Collaborate as necessary with Project Managers, Project Engineers, and colleagues to complete assigned duties.
