This role is for an experienced Service Technician who enjoys talking to people and customer service. Flex Schedules Available! ON CALL TECHNICIANS Friday - Monday 1pm until calls are done for the day (GUARANTEED 40 HOURS!), ON CALL TECHNICIANS Monday - Friday 1pm until calls are done for the day, and DAY SHIFT TECHNICIANS Friday - Monday (GUARANTEED 40 HOURS!) are all available.
Requirements
- Have a minimum of 3 to 5 years of verifiable work experience in the HVAC industry.
- Knowledge of the fundamental operational functionality of residential air conditioning, heating, and ventilation equipment.
- Able to troubleshoot problems with refrigerant, electrical, and duct systems on HVAC equipment.
- EPA Certified.
- A High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- NATE Certification preferred.
- HVAC certification or Diploma preferred.
- Valid driver’s license
Responsibilities
- Perform a thorough and accurate HVAC inspection
- Perform all HVAC repairs and replacements to applicable codes.
- Facilitate order for all parts required for appointments and ensure preparedness for the day of service.
- Submit purchase orders to dispatch or other designated purchasing team administrators.
- Effectively communicate with the customer regarding questions, concerns and problems.
- Train, coach and mentor apprentices.
- Maintain a courteous demeanor with customers and associates at all times.
