The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HVAC systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in HVAC installation and maintenance
- Valid HVAC technician certification or license
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in confined spaces
Responsibilities
- Install new HVAC systems, including ductwork, refrigerant lines, and electrical components, following building codes and manufacturer's instructions
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on existing HVAC systems, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts as needed
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC systems, including electrical and mechanical components
- Communicate with customers to explain the necessary repairs and provide recommendations for system upgrades or replacements
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including time and materials used
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies to maintain a safe working environment
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely and efficient completion of projects
- Continuously expand knowledge and stay updated on industry developments and advancements
