About The Position

The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of a wide range of goods, including materials, tools, machinery, and uniforms. This role involves maintaining health, safety, hygiene, and security standards in the work environment, ensuring the workplace meets health and safety requirements, and taking responsibility for building and stock security. The position also involves managing purchasing processes, administering online purchasing systems, preparing requisitions and purchase orders, and maintaining records of goods ordered and received. Additionally, the role includes managing stock control, receipt, storage, retrieval, and timely delivery of goods, shipment loading and transferring, document recording, and data entry. The coordinator will issue various inventory reports, handle returns of incorrect or unused materials, and be responsible for tool inventory, control, maintenance, and repair. This includes managing tool transfer logs, updating inventory lists, and delivering tools to job sites.

  • Associates degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of warehouse experience.
  • Minimum 2 years hands-on experience with HVAC and/or Refrigeration concepts.

Nice To Haves

  • Forklift operating experience/certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains standards of health, safety, hygiene and security in the work environment.
  • Maintains housekeeping of warehouse.
  • Ensures the workplace health and safety requirements are met, take responsibility for the security of the building and stock, and runs shift with safety and efficiency as priorities.
  • Ensures quality, delivery budget and environmental objectives are met.
  • Responds to field communication, locate vendors of materials, equipment or supplies, and interview them in order to determine product availability and terms of sales.
  • Administers on-line purchasing systems.
  • Prepares and process requisitions and purchase orders for supplies and equipment.
  • Maintains records of goods ordered and received, log all rentals into the rental log and follow up with foreman on status.
  • Manages stock control, receipt, storage, retrieval and timely delivery of goods; shipment loading and transferring; document recording and data entry into system.
  • Issues inventory report, in/out status report, dead stock report, goods age report, and consumption report.
  • Returns all materials not required on a project or that were delivered incorrectly.
  • Responsible for tool inventory and control: Tool transfers log in/out form, clean up, maintenance and repair of tools.
  • Updates and maintains inventory tool list, delivery of tools to the jobsite.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
