About The Position

Filtrex Service Group is seeking skilled HVAC/R Maintenance Technicians to perform preventative maintenance on heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems across various facilities nationwide. Responsibilities include inspecting and cleaning HVAC/R equipment, performing minor adjustments like filter changes, belt replacements, and coil cleaning. Technicians will also conduct visual and auditory inspections, identify potential equipment issues, and document work using a mobile app with photos. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, professional, and proficient with smartphone technology for communication and documentation.

Requirements

Minimum 1 year HVAC experience
3 year clean driving record
Technologically savvy
Ability to function highly independent with minimal direct supervision
Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions
Ability to continually enforce highest standards on work performed
Ability to maintain security and accountability on access of equipment and facilities
Ability to comply with all applicable health and safety regulations, policies and established work practices
Must be able to pass a background check

Nice To Haves

Ice machine experience preferred
EPA license preferred
OSHA 10 license preferred

Responsibilities

Perform standard preventative maintenance tasks on various equipment according to manufacturer's standards, including filter changes.
Complete minor equipment adjustments such as belt replacement/adjustment, coil cleaning, evaporator and condensing coil cleaning, and ice machine cleaning.
Maintain and treat condensate pans.
Conduct visual and auditory inspections of equipment to assess proper function.
Identify, evaluate, and make recommendations regarding equipment condition to prevent failures and minimize downtime.
Complete preventative maintenance forms on a mobile app, including taking photos and documenting work performed.
