About The Position

Filtrex Service Group is seeking skilled HVAC/R Maintenance Technicians to perform preventative maintenance on heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems across various facilities nationwide. Responsibilities include inspection, cleaning, and minor adjustments of HVAC/R equipment. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, responsible, possess a professional demeanor, and be proficient with smartphone technology for digital communication and documentation.

Requirements

Minimum 1 year HVAC experience
Technologically savvy
Ability to function highly independently with minimal direct supervision
Must be able to pass a background check
3 year clean driving record

Nice To Haves

Ice machine experience preferred
EPA license preferred
OSHA 10 license preferred

Responsibilities

Perform standard preventative maintenance tasks on various equipment, including filter changes, in accordance with manufacturer's standards.
Complete minor equipment adjustments such as belt replacement/adjustment, coil cleaning, and ice machine cleaning.
Maintain and treat condensate pans.
Conduct visual and auditory inspections of equipment to assess proper function.
Identify, evaluate, and make recommendations regarding equipment condition to prevent failures and minimize downtime.
Complete preventative maintenance forms using a mobile app, including taking photos and documenting work.
Travel for three weeks per month, working six days per week, with one full week off at home.
Comply with all applicable health and safety regulations, policies, and established work practices.
Maintain security and accountability for access to equipment and facilities.
Understand and follow oral and written instructions.
Enforce the highest standards of work performed.
