About The Position

Filtrex Service Group is seeking skilled HVAC/R Maintenance Technicians to perform comprehensive preventative maintenance on heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems across various facilities nationwide. Responsibilities include inspection and cleaning of HVAC/R equipment. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, responsible, possess a professional demeanor, and have a strong understanding of smartphone technology for digital communication and documentation.

Requirements

Minimum 1 year HVAC experience
Technologically savvy
Ability to function highly independently with minimal direct supervision
Understand and follow oral and written instructions
Continually enforce highest standards on work performed
Must be able to pass a background check
Smartphone technology for digital communication and documentation

Nice To Haves

Ice machine experience preferred
3 year clean driving record
EPA license preferred
OSHA 10 license preferred

Responsibilities

Perform standard preventative maintenance tasks on various equipment according to manufacturer's standards, including filter changes.
Complete minor equipment adjustments such as belt replacement/adjustment, coil cleaning (evaporator and condensing), ice machine cleaning, and condensate pan maintenance.
Conduct visual and auditory inspections of equipment to assess proper function.
Identify, evaluate, and make recommendations regarding equipment condition to prevent or minimize failures and downtime.
Complete preventative maintenance forms using a mobile app, including taking photos and documenting work.
Maintain security and accountability for access to equipment and facilities.
Comply with all applicable health and safety regulations, policies, and established work practices.
