About The Position

Filtrex Service Group is seeking skilled HVAC/R Maintenance Technicians nationwide to perform preventative maintenance on heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration equipment. Responsibilities include inspection, cleaning, and minor adjustments of various HVAC/R systems. The role requires a self-motivated individual with a professional demeanor and proficiency in smartphone technology for communication and documentation.

Requirements

Minimum 1 year HVAC experience
3 year clean driving record
Technologically savvy
Ability to function highly independent with minimal direct supervision
Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions
Ability to continually enforce highest standards on work performed
Ability to maintain security and accountability on access of equipment and facilities
Ability to comply with all applicable health and safety regulations, policies and established work practices
Must be able to pass a background check
Must have a broad understanding of smartphone technology for digital communication and documentation.

Nice To Haves

Ice machine experience preferred
EPA license preferred
OSHA 10 license preferred

Responsibilities

Perform standard preventative maintenance tasks on various equipment according to manufacturer's standards, including filter changes.
Complete minor equipment adjustments such as belt replacement/adjustment, coil cleaning, and ice machine cleaning.
Maintain and treat condensate pans.
Conduct visual and auditory inspections of equipment to assess proper function.
Identify, evaluate, and recommend actions to prevent or minimize equipment failures and downtime.
Complete preventative maintenance forms using a mobile app, including taking photos and documenting work performed.
