About The Position

ConServ Building Services is hiring an experienced Commercial HVAC/R Service Manager. ConServ Building Services was founded in 1991, as the service division of BCH Mechanical. They began dispatching HVAC techs in the Tampa Bay, FL area and in just a short time, ConServ’s reputation for customer service and technical expertise began to grow in GA, SC, NC, VA, TN, and AL. They are the number one choice for regional clients with multiple accounts, convenience stores, and those who prefer remote monitoring and control.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Supervisory experience in the Commercial HVAC and Refrigeration Industry
  • EPA Certification
  • Communication and Customer Service skills
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must have a valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with General Manager on day to day operations
  • Ensure that our technicians project a professional, positive public image that portrays the company in the brightest possible light
  • Field logistics ranging from setting up jobs, planning, and project coordination.
  • Provide tech support as required to field service personnel
  • Monitor and task HVAC technicians according to training and abilities
  • Communicate procedures and protocols to field service personnel
  • Ensure technicians have what they need to reach maximum efficiency
  • Ensure quality work is done – every customer, every time.
  • Communicate effectively with customers
  • Work alongside Dispatch to ensure we have the right tech on the right job
  • Coordinate with Dispatch to ensure the fleet vehicles are properly maintained
  • Conduct weekly safety meetings with field service personnel
  • Be the primary facilitator for all training of technicians
  • Coach, train and counsel technicians as required
  • Collaborate with Estimating Team to ensure quotes are accurate and timely
  • Recruiting, interviewing and hiring new technicians
  • Supervise, coach, and develop service staff; handle hiring, training, and evaluations.
  • Delegate tasks, manage schedules, and ensure adequate coverage for shifts.
  • Resolve escalated customer issues and complaints to maintain satisfaction.
  • Cultivate lasting customer relationships and ensure service standards are met
