HVAC-R Instructor

About The Position
The HVAC-R Instructor teaches hands-on courses aligned with industry and college standards, coaching students in practical skills, safety, and industry expectations. The role helps students build confidence and prepare to launch or advance their careers, while creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment and mentoring students toward academic and career success. The instructor collaborates with faculty and campus leadership to strengthen programs. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 4:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Teaching support and training are provided.
Requirements
- EPA Universal Section 608 Certification.
- At least 3 years of relevant industry experience, education, or training, with an associate degree or higher preferred.
- Candidates without a degree may be considered with 5 or more years of relevant work experience, or a combination of education, strong communication skills, and a student-first mindset.
- Willingness to learn; teaching support and training are provided.
