HVAC/R Adjunct Instructor (B2B)

StrataTech Education Group•Phoenix, AZ

About The Position

The HVAC/R Adjunct Instructor delivers employer-sponsored workforce development training to working adults in synchronous virtual sessions and scheduled hands-on lab weeks. Learners are incumbent workers whose employers have contracted StrataTech to develop their technical competency. The instructor is expected to deliver technically credible, practically grounded instruction that applies directly to learners’ work. This is a delivery role: curriculum is developed by the B2B curriculum team and must be followed as designed. Content may not be modified without approval from the Senior Director, Enterprise Training Operations. Schedules are established by cohort, and instructors are engaged cohort by cohort in alignment with the program calendar. This is not a campus-based position. The instructor prepares for and delivers assigned curriculum, maintains accurate attendance, participation, progress, assessment, and outcome records, and completes required documentation on time. Virtual delivery uses Microsoft Teams or an assigned platform and requires active facilitation and engagement management. Lab delivery includes preparing and inspecting equipment and materials, enforcing safety requirements, guiding competency-based activities, and restoring the lab to training-ready condition after sessions. The instructor holds learners to program standards, identifies and supports learners who are falling behind, provides timely and actionable feedback, and administers assessments fairly against defined rubrics. The instructor represents StrataTech professionally in client and virtual settings, follows client access and safety requirements, raises issues proactively, travels to lab sites as assigned, and maintains current technical knowledge and required credentials. The position has no direct reports.
