About The Position
Fortis College is seeking an experienced, motivated HVAC/R professional to teach in its HVAC/R Program. This part-time professional position reports directly to the Program Director. The primary responsibility is teaching HVAC/R courses. The instructor will also provide academic advising to students, assist the Program Director, and participate in department training, meetings, and graduation.
Requirements
- Completion of an HVAC/R program resulting in a Certificate of Completion or Diploma; an associate degree is preferred.
- HVAC certification.
- EPA Universal certification.
- At least three years of experience as an HVAC/R Technician.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized, motivated, and results driven.
Nice To Haves
- Associate degree.
- Journeyman certification.
- NATE certification.
- Prior postsecondary or higher education teaching experience.
Responsibilities
