About The Position

The HVAC Project Manager will be responsible for the financial accountability of construction projects and project deliverables. This role involves project setup, ordering equipment and materials, developing schedules, administering job site records, and project close-out procedures. The Project Manager will also produce or price change orders, manage vendor relationships, maintain budgets, and ensure the proper use of project management systems. A key aspect of this role is the ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, specifications, and legal contracts, translating them into installation requirements. The individual will be directly involved with the functional project team throughout the project lifecycle and must stay current with industry training and software advancements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
  • 3 to 7 years of relevant experience required
  • Microsoft Office Suite experience required
  • Ability to read/interpret blueprints
  • Ability to read plans and specs and translate into installation
  • Ability to read and understand legal contracts

Nice To Haves

  • Certification, professional license, or credential preferred
  • 7 to 10 years of relevant experience preferred
  • PMP or B.S. Construction Management preferred
  • Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology experience preferred
  • AutoCAD, Vista and Bluebeam system experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Project close out (O and M, warranty letter, as-builts, etc.)

  • Ability to read plans and specs and translate into installation
  • Ability to read and understand legal contracts
  • Direct involvement in the functional project team for the life of the project
  • Stay up-to-date on industry training and software advancements
