About The Position

This role involves performing diagnostics, repairs, preventative maintenance, and installations of HVAC systems. The technician will also be responsible for customer service and documentation of services rendered.

Requirements

• EPA Section 608 Certification is generally required for handling refrigerants.
• 1–5+ years of experience is typically preferred for service roles, though apprenticeships are available.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting ability, and good communication skills.
• A valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting malfunctioning systems (AC, furnaces, heat pumps) and replacing parts.
• Performing regular, scheduled maintenance on equipment to ensure efficiency.
• Setting up new HVAC equipment, including wiring and ductwork.
• Explaining technical issues to clients and providing repair options.
• Keeping accurate records of services and repairs.
