About The Position

Installs, repairs, operates, and maintains all HVAC and Mechanical systems within the Hospital. This role involves diagnosing and troubleshooting issues, testing systems, cleaning equipment, and calibrating systems to manufacturer's specifications. Accurate record-keeping of all maintenance and repairs is essential.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
Five years of related trade experience (Hospital Facility Maintenance desirable), required.
Valid Ohio driver’s license and proof of auto insurance as required by hospital policy and position-specific requirements.
Must pass motor vehicle background inspection, insurance eligibility, driving qualifications, and training set forth by Nationwide Children’s Hospital and maintain qualification of insurance guidelines.

Nice To Haves

Associate's Degree in HVAC, Facility Maintenance, Electro-Mechanical or Electronics, preferred.
EPA Universal Certification, preferred.
