About The Position

Sobieski New Homes of Edgewood, MD is looking to hire a full-time HVAC Mechanic / Residential New Construction to install quality heating and cooling systems for the community while training HVAC helpers. This is a career opportunity with a growing company and supportive team. The typical work schedule is 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, with overtime expected during peak periods. Requirements

3 plus years of new home construction experience
Knowledge of applicable state codes
Hands-on knowledge of residential HVAC construction
Driver's license and a good driving record
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to work out in the summer heat as well as in tight spaces such as attics and crawlspaces
Own hand tools used by HVAC mechanics
Good communication skills
Ability to deal courteously and tactfully with customers and fellow workers in the construction trades
Ability to work well as part of a team
Self-motivated and career-minded
