About The Position

Primarily responsible for performing installs, repairs and maintenance to a variety of equipment including: refrigeration, air conditioning, electric motors, heating units, heat pumps, hermetic compressors, light commercial furnaces, boilers, burners, intake and exhaust fans, economizers and humidifiers. Troubleshoots malfunctioning heating, air conditioning and refrigeration systems to determine the cause of the malfunction Performs scheduled maintenance inspections, and adjusts, cleans and calibrates various systems to assure proper system operations repairs wiring and electronic components associated with automated building management systems, replaces expansion valves, compressors, motors, coil units and other component parts.

Requirements

  • Experience with refrigeration, air conditioning, electric motors, heating units, heat pumps, hermetic compressors, light commercial furnaces, boilers, burners, intake and exhaust fans, economizers and humidifiers.
  • Ability to troubleshoot malfunctioning heating, air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
  • Ability to perform scheduled maintenance inspections.
  • Ability to adjust, clean and calibrate various systems.
  • Ability to repair wiring and electronic components associated with automated building management systems.
  • Ability to replace expansion valves, compressors, motors, coil units and other component parts.
