Seton Medical Center Harker Heights is an 83-bed acute care hospital offering services such as Cardiology, Emergency Services and a Level IV Trauma Designated ER, General Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Total Joint Replacement, Gastroenterology, Diagnostic Services and more.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
3+ years’ experience in HVAC maintenance and repair in a commercial or healthcare environment.
Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Section 608 Certification.
Knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical and mechanical components, and Building Automation Systems (BAS).

Nice To Haves

Technical or vocational training in HVAC or a related field.
Experience working in a hospital or healthcare environment.
HVAC Journeyman license or equivalent credential.

Responsibilities

Performs maintenance, repair, and operation of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems within a hospital environment.
Ensures proper indoor air quality, temperature control, and system functionality to support patient care and facility operations.
Follows safety standards, infection control protocols, and regulatory requirements to maintain compliance.
Supports preventive maintenance programs and responds to service needs in a timely manner.
Contributes to a safe, efficient, and reliable healthcare environment.
