About The Position
An HVAC Technician to perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and installation of commercial and residential HVAC systems. Work to be performed throughout Southern Arizona at US Border Patrol Stations. This is a 4-10s schedule with no on-call duties. Must pass the Department of Homeland Security Background Investigation.
Requirements
- Must pass the Department of Homeland Security Background Investigation
- Ability to perform most tasks of the craft without supervision
- Must be able to read and understand blueprints, construction drawings, schematics and diagrams
- Ability to drive safe
- Trained in all types of sizes of air condition refrigeration and evaporative cooling equipment
- Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) certification to purchase and handle ozone depleting chemical as outlined in federal and state regulations.
- Work in a team
