Requirements

A minimum of 2 years of experience in the HVAC trade.
A positive attitude with a willingness to treat customers with utmost respect.
A deep understanding of heating, AC, and IAQ equipment and HVAC system designs.
Enthusiasm to learn and grow.
The ability to treat time in a client's home as an invited guest.
Ability to work late when the job requires it.
Physically able to work on HVAC units.
Ability to work in settings with extreme cold or extreme heat.
Prolonged periods of standing, kneeling, crawling, or climbing ladders.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.

Responsibilities

Diagnosing HVAC issues such as no heat, no AC, insufficient cooling, fan-only operation, unusual noises, or leaks.
Selling repairs and replacements for furnaces, boilers, condensers, package units, coils, humidifiers, water heaters, circulators, zone controls, heat pumps, and air handlers.
Assisting in the preparation and completion of sold installations.
Communicating effectively with customers, co-workers, managers, and vendors.
Maintaining an orderly, clean, and fully stocked company truck, which is provided for take-home use.
